Tom Vanderwall Owner, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Tom was born and raised in Muskegon, MI and graduated from Muskegon College before earning his degree in mortuary science from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1974.
He owned and operated a funeral home in Charlevoix County, MI until moving to Dayton in 1986. Choosing to make Dayton his lifelong home, he transferred his funeral director and embalmer licenses from Michigan to Tennessee.
He is a member of Grace Bible Church, the Dayton Rotary Club and the Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
He and his wife Jan have been married 37 years and have four sons, one daughter and two grandchildren. -
Jan Vanderwall
Jan Vanderwall Owner. Jan was born and raised in Muskegon, MI. She and her husband Tom have four sons, one daughter and two grandchildren. Jan is a member of Grace Bible Church where she is a mentor for the "Moms4Moms" group and she enjoys sewing and gardening her flowers. (Jan is not licensed).

Alex J. Vanderwall, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer
Alex Vanderwall Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Alex is a 2002 graduate of Rhea County High School and a 2005 graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL where he received his degree in business administration. He completed his degree in mortuary science at Jefferson State in Birmingham, AL in 2007.
Alex is a lifelong resident of Dayton where he and his wife, Lisa Swafford Vanderwall are members of the First United Methodist Church in Dayton. Alex enjoys the outdoors, hunting and spending time on his farm. -
