Willie Claudine Arnold

Willie Arnold, age 96 of Dayton, died Monday May 10, 2010 at Memorial Northpark in Hixson. A lifelong resident of Dayton, she was born January 28, 1914 to the late Grover and Myrtle (Cox) Fine. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Clifford Arnold.

Willie worked for many years for Robinson Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Garrison Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Julia (Pat) Millard, brother Allen “Jake” Fine, sister Naomi Kelly, grandsons Tim Millard and Jimmy (Sandy) Millard, and three great-grandchildren, Megan, Allie and Patrick all of Dayton.

Funeral services for Willie will be held Thursday at 6:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Barry Purser officiating. Burial will be in Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
