William Clinton Hahn age 88 passed away at his home in Columbus, OH early Tuesday morning June 24, 2015. He was born September 21, 1926 in Jeffersonville, OH to the late William Hahn and Dorothy (Ross) Hahn. He was also preceded in death by his wife Peggy (Henderson) Hahn, brother Chauncy Hahn, two sons Jeffrey Estes, Gary Hahn, and daughter Estaleene McGuire.
Bill entered the U.S. Army at age 18, earning several medals of honor for his service in Japan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing basketball and baseball. He loved watching football. In retirement, he kept busy repairing lawnmowers and refinishing furniture for re sale at flea markets. He was very much loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his children Ruth Estes, Rodney Hahn, Deborah (Hahn) Langley and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services for William will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Pleasant View Cemetery in Graysville, TN with Rev.John Fields officiating.
