William Clifton Greer

William Clifton Greer, age 88, of Dayton, passed away Sunday morning, February 17, 2019 at Laurelbrook Nursing Home in Dayton. He was born in Sellersburg, IN on October 30, 1930. William was preceded in death by his parents Murvin and Mable (Spurgeon) Greer and his daughter Joanna Greer.
William lived in Dayton since 1987, served his country in the US Army and was a purchasing agent for the Laurelbrook community school and Laurelbrook Nursing Home. He was a member of the Brayton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce (Gilkey) Greer; two sons, Matthew Greer of Dunlap and Jay Greer of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Jonathan Greer, David Greer, Justice Greer, Jakob Greer and Kurtis Thompson.

A memorial service for William will be held Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Brayton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
The family is being cared for by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
