William Hixon Crowe, age 77 of Dayton, passed away early Tuesday morning November 3, 2015 in Chattanooga. He was born on July 26, 1938 in Pensacola, FL to the late Andrew and Marguerite (Pearl) Crowe.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft crew chief. While living in Florida, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Auburndale, FL and retired as a real estate broker and contractor. He moved to Dayton in 2009 and was a member Concord Union Church in Evensville.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Sandra (Bolender) Crowe of Dayton, two daughters, Kim Tuttle of Dayton, Beth (Tim) Sheridan of Auburndale, FL, one son Bud Crowe of Auburndale, FL, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services with military honors will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm at Bryan College Rudd Chapel with Pastor Sam Olsen officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday after 1:00 pm at Rudd Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery Monday morning at 10:30 am.
