Wendell “June Bug” Winston Billingsley, Jr., age 55 of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Parkridge ER in Soddy-Daisy. He was born on August 12, 1969, the son of the late Wendell Billingsley, Sr. and Cleopatra (Page) Billingsley.

June Bug lived in Soddy-Daisy most of his life, graduating from Soddy-Daisy High School Class of 1987. He served his country in the US Army in Germany. He was employed at TVA, Local 846 Labor Union, as a Radiation Laboratory Technician. June Bug loved all sports, he was an avid fantasy football lover, and a fan of the Dallas Cowboy, and the Auburn Tigers. He was of Methodist faith.

In addition to his mother, Cleopatra Billingsley of Bakewell, June Bug is survived by his wife of 33 years, Heather Billingsley of Soddy-Daisy; his son, Drake Billingsley of Dayton; his daughter, Kinney Page Billingsley of Soddy-Daisy; and his two brothers, Nathaniel Billingsley of Bakewell, and Calvin Billingsley of Fairview.

A Gathering Time to remember June Bug will be held in the funeral home parlor on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
