Miss Vivian Jean Travis

Vivian Jean “Viva” Travis, age 77, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Tullahoma. She was born May 5, 1935 in Morgantown, TN to the late Roy and Dorothy (Dyer) Travis. She was also preceded in death by her brothers David Clifton Travis and R.L. Travis and sister Ida Mae Blum.
A resident of Dayton for many years, she was a homemaker and a babysitter. She enjoyed watching TV and cleaning, eating out at her favorite catfish restaurant with friends and playing Bingo.
Viva leaves behind special friends Glenda Stephens, Sandra Kendrick, Lavern Mines and Barbara Caldwell as well as her favorite nurses and CNAs at Life Care of Tullahoma.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at the Dayton City Cemetery with Rev. Archie Poole officiating.
