Virginia Mary Norris

Virginia Mary Norris, age 97, of Dayton, died Thursday November 29, 2012 at the Heartland Manor in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born February 4, 1915 in Dayton to the late John Jacob and Sarah Elizabeth (Fulbright) Brooks. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harley T. Norris and sister Frances Hodge.
A resident of Dayton for many years, she moved to Ann Arbor in 2010. She was a high school graduate plus attended one year of finishing school. She was a seamstress in ladies’ garment factories and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dayton for many years.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service for Virginia will be held Friday afternoon, December 7th, at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the Dayton City Cemetery.
