Virga Ora Jackson, age 97 of Dayton, TN passed away Wednesday February 18, 2015 at Rhea Medical Center. She was born on October 28, 1917 in Grayson, LA to the late Tom and Mary (Harper) McKee. She was also preceded in death by her husband Howard Jackson.
Virgie dedicated her life as a homemaker and was a member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sebastopol, MS.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Lamar Jackson of Dayton, TN grandson, Mark Jackson of Cleveland, TN, granddaughter, Melanie Ann (Jeremy) Myers of Dayton, TN, two great-grandchildren, Jackson and William Myers of Dayton, TN and a sister Ann Cassels of Columbia, LA.
Funeral services for Virgie will be held Sunday afternoon February 22 at 3:00 p.m. in the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sebastopol, MS. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
