Vicky Sharp

Maria Victoria “Vicky” Sharp, age 45 of Pikeville, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at Erlanger in Chattanooga. She was born August 4, 1966 in the Dominican Republic to the late Victor Jimenez and Alfonsina Lopez Zorrilla. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Juana Lopez.
A resident of Pikeville since 2002, Vicky was owner and stylist of Concepts Hair Salon in Dayton, TN. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband Sherman “Vance” Sharp of Pikeville, her mother Alfonsina Zorrilla of Dominican Republic, two sisters Nurika Lopez of Dominican Republic and Juliana Ramirez of Puerto Rico, two brothers Juan Ramirez of Binghamton, NY and Victor Ramirez of Long Island, NY, two step-sons Vance Sharp, Jr. of Jackson, TN and Joshua Sharp of Eugene, OR.
Funeral services for Vicky will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carter Johnson officiating. She will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral.
She will be laid to rest at Necropolis San Pedro Apostol Cemetario, San Pedro de Macoris, R.D.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
