Vernon Orval Crowe age 71 passed away Monday evening February 29, 2016 at Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 16, 1944 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Vernon Orval and Wanda LaVern (Karns) Crowe .
Vernon lived in Michigan most of his life before moving to Tennessee is 2006. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan. He worked as a labor analyst for the State of Michigan where he retired. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing and gardening .He was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Soddy Daisy.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Eva (Spain) Crowe, two sons Brian (Denise) Crowe of Dayton, Kevin (Denise) Crowe of Fulshear, TX, grandchildren; Britney (Michael), Brandon (Hali) , Kailyn, Kourtny, Kolby, Kyler, great-grandchild Bradley, four brothers Benny Crowe of Spring City, Gary (Jolynn) Crowe of Springfield, MO, Randy (Vickie) of Evensville, Robert (Angela) Crowe of Ventress, LA, sister Ronda (Richard) Bailey of Lebanon, MO.
Funeral services for Vernon will be held Friday at 12:00 noon at Soddy Daisy Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Crowe and Pastor Rick Anderson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Smith Wilkey Cemetery in Evensville.

The family is being cared for by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. He will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service.
