Vera Mae Hicks

Vera Mae Hicks, age 73, of Rhea County, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Westmoreland Health Care. She was born September 11, 1935 in Rhea County, the daughter of the late Harvey Bowman and Ida (Goins) Hicks. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carl James Sexton.
Vera is survived by her four sons Donald Sexton of Greenville, TN, Tony Sexton of Rhea County, TN, James Hicks and Douglas Sexton, both of Michigan, daughter Jeannette Boles of Michigan and many grandchildren.
Funeral services for Vera will be held Friday at noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in the Rhea Memory Gardens.
