Twighla Marie Houston, age 46 of Evensville, passed away in Decatur on July 28, 2026. She was born on March 10, 1980, the daughter of Donald and Belinda (Shelton) Houston.

Twighla called Rhea County home her whole life long. She had a gift for crafting and a love for baking. She was also a devoted Alabama football fan, she loved cheering them on.

In addition to her parents, Donald and Belinda Houston of Sale Creek, Twighla is survived by her four children, Dylan Ezell of Sale Creek, Sarah (Matt) Elkins of Evensville, Katlyn Massey of Graysville, and Brittney Maxwell of Sale Creek; her brother, Donald (Crissy) Houston Jr. of Dayton; her sister, Mary Benfield of Dayton; her four grandchildren, Victor Jordan, Paisley Massey, Kinleigh Ezell, and Ryver Elkins; and her furry friend and companion, Kaos.

Funeral services for Twighla will be in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jeff Swafford officiating. She will be laid to rest at Our Father’s Resting Place.
