Thomas Andrew Johnson, age 81 of Dayton, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Soddy Daisy Health Care Center. He was born December 14, 1929 in Benham, KY to the late Henry and Hazel (Lucy) Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Jo Marie (Robinette) Johnson.
A resident of Dayton since 1959, Andrew was a welder for Combustion Engineering and for Price Brothers. He raised and sold Black Angus cattle and was active with the Shriners, Masons and Eastern Star. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank.
Andrew is survived by his wife Arlene Johnson of Dayton, sister Hazel (Mike) Staffelbach of Rogersville, TN and special nephew Steve (Lou) Brown of Sylvania, AL.
Funeral services for Andrew will be held Saturday at 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Roberson and Rev. Steve James officiating. Burial will be in the Rhea Memory Gardens.
