Thomas Lee “Tommy” Trusley, age 69 of Spring City, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, TN. He was born on December 25, 1952, in Decatur, the son of the late Jay William Trusley and Jimmie Isabell (Dunn) Trusley. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Aaron Trusley, and his two brothers, Jay Harold Trusley and Newell Trusley.
Tommy lived in Spring City for the last 20 years. He worked as a die setter at Suburban for almost 40 years.
He is survived by his five children, Thomas Trusley, Jr. of Spring City, Dennis (Angie) Trusley, Sr. of Spring City, Michael Trusley of Dayton, Sonya Trusley of Spring City and Betty (Aaron) Fite of Kingsport; his seven grandchildren, Dylan Trusley of Spring City, Jeremy Trusley of Spring City, Cameron (Brittany) Trusley of Pikeville, Dennis Trusley, Jr. of Spring City, Makaila (Logan) Salmon of Dayton, Kaitlyn Fite of Kingsport, and Piper Fite of Kingsport; his two great-grandchildren, Silas Trusley of Pikeville, and Tobyn Salmon of Dayton; and his two sisters, Jewel Ashburn of Dayton and Joanne Wilcox of Niota.
There will be no services for Tommy at this time. He will be buried at Buttram Cemetery.
