Teresa Dale Miller

Teresa Dale Miller, age 62 of the Brayton Community, passed away with her family by her side at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born on August 2, 1963, in Chattanooga, the daughter of the late Fred Gann and her mother, Marilyn (Hindman) Gann, who survives her.

Teresa lived in the Brayton Community of Graysville since 1987, was a high school graduate, and homeschooled her children. She was employed as a dental hygienist and also handled insurance claims for dental offices. She enjoyed going to the beach, being outside, and sitting on her front porch. She was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 42 years, Anthony Aden Miller of Brayton; her mother, Marilyn Gann of Cohutta, Georgia; her son, Chris Miller of Dayton; her daughter, Mariah Miller of Albany, New York; her granddaughter, Emma Miller of Dayton; her sister, Melissa (Alvin) Gonzales of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her brothers, Jeff Gann and Freddie Gann, both of Cohutta, Georgia, and Clayton (Amy) Gann of Dalton, Georgia; and her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Teresa will be in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Brayton Cemetery on Graysville Mountain in Bledsoe County.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee, where they will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
