Stephen Lee Cox, age 37 of Dayton, died unexpectedly Friday, October 9, 2009 while visiting his brother in Brentwood. Stephen was born in Dayton on April 29, 1972 the son of the late Dean and Linda (Reed) Cox.
Stephen had been employed as a machinist, auto mechanic and auto body painter and he was a NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his two daughters, Alisha Cox and Linda Jill Cox both of Dayton and his brother, David Cox of Brentwood.
Funeral services for Stephen will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Doyse Thompson officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Spring City Memorial Gardens followed by a white dove release.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Sunday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
