Stanley Herbert Heywood, age 91 of Dayton, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at Life Care of Rhea County. He was born August 5, 1920 in London, England and he was preceded in death by his son Roy Heywood.
A resident of Dayton since 1991, he owned and operated a bicycle shop. He served with the British Royal Air Force during WWII and was a member of the Church of England.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Joan (Ellis) Heywood of Dayton, his son Allan (Pam) Heywood of Ontario, Canada and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
