Sherron Marie Sims, age 67 of Graysville died at her home early Monday morning, March 15, 2010. Sherron was born in Soddy-Daisy on September 19, 1942 the daughter of the late James Knox and Beatrice (May) Knox Hamby and Willard Hamby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin “Bo” Sims, sons Curtis Sims and Marvin Sims, Jr., sisters Betty Reel and Audrey Harwood and grandsons Ryan Ballinger and Andrew Jackson Sims.
Sherron lived most of her life in Graysville where and had been employed for over twenty years with Dri-Set and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son Andy (fiancée Stacia Holden) Sims of Graysville, two daughters, Karen Beene of Graysville and Fonda Ballinger of East Ridge; two sisters, Loretta (Ray) Tucker of Dayton and Brenda Knox of Graysville; five brothers, Arthur Knox of Grandview, Tony Knox, Bill Knox and Mike Knox all of Graysville and Ricky Knox of Evensville; grandchildren, Chancey Farris, Zachary Beene, Haley Beene, Kimberly Caraway and Lindsay Vaughn and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Sherron will be held Thursday afternoon at 4:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Burial followed by a white dove release will be in Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Tuesday after 4:00pm and all day Wednesday.
