Sherrie Ann Mattner

February 4, 1952 — June 20, 2015

Sherrie Ann Mattner, age 63 of Spring City passed away Saturday June 20, 2015 at Memorial Northpark Hospital in Chattanooga. She was born February 4, 1952 in Mississippi County, AR to the late James and Wanda Lee (Lunsford) Raney. She was also preceded in death by her sister Shirley Y. Raney.
A resident of Spring City since 2008, she spent many years in Eau Claire, MI, where she operated green houses and she loved working with her flowers. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, golfing, dancing and fishing. Sherrie was always cheerful, full of life and loved caring for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kevin R. Mattner of Spring City, five daughters, Rebecca Mack of Thousand Oaks, CA, Lisa (Mario) Raucci of Coloma, MI, Kellie (Greg) Pugh of Hagerstown, MD, Autumn (Matt Holmes) Mattner Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Melanie (Marc) Rettig of Gurnee, IL, one son Pete (Nancy) Mattner of Eau Claire, MI, one sister Sandra K. Cook of Cordova, TN, seven grandchildren Zachery Olson, Steven Mack, Brianna Pugh, Kayleigh Pugh, Logan Raulli, Colt Mattner and Luke Rettig.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 3:00 p m in the chapel of the Starks - Menchinger Funeral Home in St. Joseph, MI.
The family will receive friends at the Starks - Menchinger Funeral Home from 1:00 p m - 3:00 p m before the funeral.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
