Scott Russell Sprague, age 69 of Sale Creek, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, TN. He was born in Long Beach, CA, on September 13, 1956, the son of the late Harold and Ruth (McEuen) Sprague, Jr.

He lived in Georgia before moving to Dayton, and worked as a custom stair builder for residential homes. He lived in Georgia before moving to Dayton, and worked as a custom stair builder for residential homes. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by his two sisters, Lori Gorton of Alabama, Jeanene Cole of California; and his stepdaughter, Allison Daniels of California.
