Sarah Mae Lewis

Sarah Mae Lewis, age 88 of Dayton, died Monday April 11, 2011 at Life Care of Rhea County. She was born August 3, 1922 in Sequatchie County, TN to the late Anderson and Nancy (Sims) Harvey. She was also preceded in death by her husband Eugene Lewis.
Sarah lived in Dayton most of her life and was a homemaker. She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her sons Charles (Wanda) Lewis of Spring City, Carlos (Margaret) Lewis of Graysville, Michael Lewis of Hixson, Alvin (Brenda) Lewis and Eddie Lewis both of Dayton, daughters Barbara (Alan) Cummings of Hixson, Shirley Lewis and Glenna Lewis both of Dayton, sister Bonnie Seals of Dunlap and many grandchildren.
Funeral services for Sarah will be Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Eastman officiating. A graveside service and burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 am Eastern time at the Davis Cemetery in Lewis Chapel, TN.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
