Sallie Jo Reed age 50 of Sale Creek passed away Saturday morning, February 28, 2015 at her home. She was born in Tacoma, WA on November 28, 1964 and was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence William McManis.
Sallie was a resident of Sale Creek since 1984 where she was a member of the Sale Creek Church of God and retired from La-Z-Boy.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Lamar Reed of Sale Creek, her daughter, Robin (Hunter) Selby of Graysville, step-daughter, Candace (Shawn) Vandergriff of Cleveland, mother, Doris McManis of Argos, IN, four brothers, Mark McManis and Greg McManis both of Bremen, IN, John McManis of Jackson, OH and Richard (Denise) McManis of Nappanee, IN, her sister, Teresa (Lloyd) Hodge of Sale Creek and her four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Sallie will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with her pastor, Rev. Terry Bolton officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hodge Family Cemetery on Brayton Mountain on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by a white dove release.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Tuesday after 5:00pm.
