Ruth Ellen Smith

Ruth Ellen Smith, age 85 of Dayton, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 in Chattanooga. She was born August 25, 1927 in Tom’s Brook, VA to the late William Arthur and Rena (Orndorff) Richard. She was also preceded by her husband, Virgil Howard Smith, son, Howard Smith, and six brothers and sisters.
Previously from Dawsonville, GA, Ruth has lived the past seven months in Dayton. She worked in assembly at Seimens Corp. in Lake Mary, FL over twenty years.
Ruth is survived by three sons, Anthony (Phyllis) Smith of Oxnard, CA, Dennis (Crystal) Smith of Clearlake CA, Jerry (Shatana) Smith of Dawsonville, GA, daughter, Rayna Smith of Dayton, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great great-grandaughter, and one sister, Sue (Shelby) Sager of Woodstock, VA.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Strasburg, VA.
