Mary Ruth Miller, age 79 died late Friday, March 27, 2009 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born in Whitwell, TN on April 26, 1929 the daughter of the late Luther Clark Gilreath and Dollie (Brown) Gilreath. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ross Miller who died in 1968.
Ruth was a resident of Dayton for the past 13 years, previously living in Chattanooga for many years. She was a member of the Senior Neighbors and of the Dayton Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and William Reveal of Dayton, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ruth will be held Monday morning at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Minister Steve Brown officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 1:00pm at the Chattanooga Memorial Park in Red Bank.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Monday morning before the service.
