Ruth Ora Kelly

Ruth Ora Kelly, age 90 of Spring City, passed away at her home early on Saturday, August 8, 2026. She was born in Wickliffe, Kentucky, on October 9, 1935, the daughter of Martin Edward Robertson and Ona Ora (Brack) Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Kelly.

Ruth spent many years living in Clinton, Kentucky, before relocating to Spring City six years ago. She trained as an LPN, earning her associate degree in the field, and went on to work as a licensed practical nurse for 40 years. While in Clinton, she was a member of First Assembly of God, attending there until her move to Spring City.

Ruth is survived by her children, Michael (Lea Ann) Poole and Ruth Ann Poole, all of Spring City; her four grandchildren; and her 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service for Ruth will be at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kelly Goins officiating.
