Ruth Burchard age 93 of Rising Fawn, Georgia and formerly of Chattanooga died Saturday January 7, 2006 in her home.She was born January 10,1912 in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of the late William and Clara (Lausten) Tatreau. Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Buhl Burchard.
Ruth graduated in 1933 from nursing school and worked as an RN before assisting her husband as his bookkeeper. She lived in Chattanooga from 1970 until moving to Rising Fawn in 1996. She was a member of the Lookout Mountain Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Ruth is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Ruth will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton, TN with Pastor Rudy Skoretz officiating.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
