Ruby Turner

Ruby Turner age 91 of Dayton died February 12, 2007 in her home.
She was born July 29, 1915 in Hayes, LA the daughter of the late
Frank and Zula Mae (Brusard) Patton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph “JB” Turner, her daughter Ruby Turner and son, Francis Turner.

Ruby lived in Texas where she retired as a teacher’s aide after 20 years of teaching and has lived in Dayton for the past 10 years where she was a member of the Garrison Baptist Church in Dayton.

She is survived by her son, JB Turner Jr of San Antonio, TX, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ruby will be held Tuesday at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Breeden officiating. Burial will be on Graysville Mountain followed by a white dove release.
