Roy Lee Woolen age 91 of Dayton died Thursday September 21, 2006 in Rhea Medical Center. He was born August 15, 1915 in Dayton the son of the late Orah Lee and Alma (Killough) Woolen.

Roy retired from Union Camp in Savannah, Ga. after 32 years as a machinist. He moved back to Dayton in 1978 where he loved fishing and was a member of I.A.M. Corporation. He was of the Methodist Faith.

Roy is survived by his wife of 64 years Tina (Hartness) Woolen of Dayton, his son, James and (Cathy) Woolen of Big Rapids, MI. four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, his brother, Harvey and (Helen) Woolen of FL., sister, Jenny Swearingen of Chattanooga, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11am the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral home in Dayton where they will receive friends Friday 6-8pm.
