Roy Sligh, age 56 of Dayton, died Thursday June 16, 2011 at his home. He was born June 9, 1955 in Dayton to the late Woodrow and Myrtle (Smith) Sligh.
Roy was a self-employed mechanic.
He is survived by his daughters Lisa Evitt and Tresa Minton, sisters Mary Crowe and Doris Alvey, brother William “Bill” Sligh all of Dayton, grandchildren Trevor Sligh, Hunter Minton, Mason Evitt and Havan Minton of Dayton, great-grandson Connor SLigh of Crossville, several nieces and nephews, several half-brothers and half-sisters and several stepdaughters and stepsons.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 7:00 pm at the Spence Cemetery.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Friday after 3:00 pm.
