Roy Jennings

Roy Charles Thomas Jennings, age 79 of Evensville died Wednesday June 8, 2011 at his home. He was born September 13, 1931 in Joelton, TN to the late Jim and Bessie Harvey Jennings. He was also preceded in death by a son Jerry L. Jennings, brothers Fred, J.B., Robert and Harvey Jennings and sisters Lena King and Elizabeth Klienert.
He was a retired mechanic and salesman.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary (Miller) Jennings, sons Michael Roy (Sylvia) Jennings of Soddy Daisy and Jacky Earl (Linda) Jennings of Evensville, daughters Janice (Joe) Glenn of Piedmont, MO, Mary Ann Williamson of Seymour, IN and Susan (Tony) Dixon of Whitehouse, TN, 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Roy will be held Friday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Justice officiating. Burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery.
