Rose Marie “Rosie” Harvey, age 60, of Decatur, formerly of Chattanooga, died Tuesday morning, September 11, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. She was born October 2, 1957 in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Curtin.
Rosie lived in Chattanooga for many years until moving to Decatur five years ago. She was employed with Southwest Motor Freight and FedEx. Rosie enjoyed being with her family and was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband Robert Harvey of Decatur; her mother Donna (James) Thompson of Grandview; her daughter Kristin (Juan) Bloodworth; her grandson Avery Elijah Bloodworth both of Chickamauga, GA; her brothers, Steve (Debbie) Curtin of Dayton, Richard (Joy) Reed of Dayton and Rusty (Trish) Reed of Atlanta, GA; her sister Violet (Jim) Graves of Grandview; his step-mother Betty Curtin of Sale Creek and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services for Rosie will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Fields officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton on Friday.
