Rosalie Theresa Decker

April 7, 1924 — December 18, 2021

Rosalie Theresa Decker, age 97 of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on April 7, 1924, the daughter of the late Anthony and Carmella (Pulizzotto) Pulizzotto. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Decker.

Rosalie lived in New York City for many years, moved to South Florida, and then lived in Dayton in recent years. She retired as a CPA while she lived in New York City. She enjoyed knitting, dancing, and making baby bonnets for newborns. She loved watching basketball, especially Lebron James, and was a fan of the New York Giants football team. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her son, Robert Decker of Dayton; her daughter, Roseanne of New York City; her grandchildren, Lesa, Rita, and Rosalee; her great-grandchildren, Kristen, Jason, and Ashlee; and her great-great-grandchildren, Noah, Axel, and Allison.

There will be a Gathering Time for Rosalie on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the parlor of the Vanderwall Funeral Home.
