Roger Lee Phillips

Roger Lee Phillips, age 58, of Dayton died Sunday evening February 16, 2014 in Dayton. He was born March 7, 1955 in Rhea County to the late Richard and Cleo (Harris) Phillips. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph and Franklin Phillips, and his sisters, Cathryn Walker and Mary Sue Phillips.
A resident of Dayton all of his life, Roger was employed by Suburban Manufacturing for 35 years. He loved auto mechanics and was of the Baptist faith.
Roger is survived by his sister, Reba (Franklin) Sutton, his two brothers, Raymond Phillips and Richard Phillips, all of Dayton, and several nephews and nieces.
Services for Roger will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tom Herrell and Rev. Carroll Henderson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Dayton City Cemetery.
