Robert Lee Lewter, Jr., age 86 of Dayton died Friday, March 5, 2010 at his home. He was born November 30, 1923 in Bethel, TN to the late Robert Lee Lewter, Sr. and Lena (Hannah) Lewter. He was also preceded in death by a brother Jerry Lewter, sister Joyce Brock and son Billy Rae Lewter.
Robert served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII. He is survived by sons Carey Lewter of Chattanooga, Dale Lewter of Chicago, Robert Lee Lewter III of Arizona, Mike Mason of Fl, daughters Sherri Conelly and Dawn Kioseff of Chicago, brothers Billy Ray Lewter of FL and V. Gene Lewter of KY,
Graveside services with military honors for Robert were held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
