Robbie Dean Richey

Robbie Dean Richey, age 91 of Dayton, died Saturday afternoon June 22, 2013 at her home. She was born July 18, 1921 in Graysville to the late Edward and Ruby (Pierce) Crawley. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Richey, son Ronnie Richey and brother Edwin Crawley.
A lifelong resident of Dayton, Robbie retired after 37 years with Robinson Manufacturing Company. She was active with the Rhea Richland Senior Neighbors and was a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church.
Robbie is survived by her son Jerry Richey and daughter Lynda Gates, both of Dayton, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her special caregiver Lucy Boyd of Pikeville.
Funeral services for Robbie will be held Monday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Anderson and Rev. Jim Purser officiating. She will be laid to rest in Faith Garden at Buttram Cemetery.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Monday before the funeral.
