Richard Garrison, age 86, of Spring City, died Sunday morning, March 23, 2014 in Dayton. He was born March 24, 1927 in Cookeville to the late Cowin and Emma (Pryor) Garrison.
A resident of Rhea and Hamilton Counties, Richard was employed as a welder at Acme Steel. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Richard served his country in the US Army in Korea.
He is survived by his daughters, Richel Kinney of Spring City and Penny Newel of Knoxville; three grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Richard was laid to rest in the Porter Cemetery in Spring City, Tennessee.
