Richard Ellis

Richard A. Ellis, age 65 of Dayton Mountain entered into rest Monday, May 5, 2008 at Erlanger Medical Center. Richard was born in Michigan on January 27, 1943 and moved to Dayton Mountain in 1984 where he worked as a carpenter. Richard was a member of the Graysville Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was head deacon.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kathleen (Salzwedel) Ellis of Dayton Mountain, son, Richard “Mike” Ellis of Pikeville, daughter, Aimee Lynn Ivascu of Cartersville, GA, his mother, Ida Smith of Belleville, MI, three grandchildren, and his three brothers, Walter Ellis of Belleville, MI, Warren Ellis of Tyler, TX and John Ellis of Dayton, TN.

Funeral services for Richard will be held Thursday evening at 7:00pm at the Graysville Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor David Wendt officiating. His family will receive friends at the church Thursday after 5:00pm.
