Richard Donald Barcus

Richard 'Rick' Donald Barcus, age 63 of Grandview, passed away on October 9, 2022. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was a resident of Grandview, Tennessee. Rick was born on July 30, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio to Donald and Virgie Barcus.

Rick is survived by wife of 33 years Robin (Simpson) Barcus of Grandview, Tennessee and daughters Susan Barcus and Stacie Barcus of Jamestown, Ohio. He is also survived by brother Gerald Barcus of Ashland, Ohio and many nephews and nieces. Rick is preceded in death by his mother and father, Virgie and Donald Barcus.

Rick entered the Navy after high school and served 10 years. He earned two engineering degrees in IT. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after many years of service there. No funeral arrangements have been made.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, per his request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Christian Fellowship Church Building Fund of Grandview, Tennessee.
