Rev. Francis Jackson Neddo age 85 of Sale Creek died March 24, 2006 in his home.
He was born in South Bend, IN, February 3, 1921 the son of the late Gabriel and Mamie (Annis) Neddo. He was also preceded in death by his son Mike Neddo.
Francis served his country with the US Navy during WWII and was a graduate of Bryan College class of 1954. He was a tool and die maker prior to moving to Sale Creek in 1954. and was a member of Sale Creek Independent Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of several organizations including Campus Crusade, Youth for Christ, Child Evangelism and he served as a Cedine Ministeries Missionary.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years Hazel (Kline) Neddo of Sale Creek, his daughters, Mary (Fred) Kerr of SC., Faith Anne (Hank) Hatcher of IN., Flora (Ben) Slater of Chattanooga and Carolee (Reggie) Luther of GA., daughter-in-law, Debi Neddo of MI., his sons, Jon Neddo of NC. and Joel (Kwang Suk) Neddo of MO., ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren., sisters, Lydia Alexander, Athlene Stayton, Karen Burns all of IN., brothers, Darwin Neddo of W. VA., Vern Neddeau of AK., Larry Neddo and James Neddo both of IN.
Funeral Services for Francis will be held Monday at 11am at Cedine Bible Ministeries in Spring City with Rev. Phil Evaul, Rev. Steve Zimmerman, Rev. Butch Upton and Rev. Darwin Neddo officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in the Cedine Cemetery
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Sunday afternoon 2-6pm
