Raymond Howard Harvey

Raymond Howard Harvey, age 77, of Graysville, TN died Thursday, August 5, 2010 in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born February 19, 1933 in Chattanooga to the late Emmett and Mary (Harden) Harvey. He was also preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Jo (Miles) Harvey, daughter Teresa Harvey, sister Bea Rodgers, brothers Mark Harvey and Max Harvey and great-grandson Tristin Smith.
Howard served his country in the U.S. Navy for twelve years during the Korean War.
He is survived by his son Ray Harvey of Graysville, TN, daughter Lois Smith of Las Vegas, NV, brothers Bruce Harvey of Murfreesboro, TN, Ed Harvey of Chattanooga and Carl Harvey of San Antonio, TX, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Howard will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Mr. Joe Coulter officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville.
