Raymond "Chucky" Charles Iles

Raymond Charles “Chucky” Iles, age 49 of Dayton, passed away at Erlanger Baroness Hospital in Chattanooga on Thursday, July 24, 2025. He was born in Rhea County on May 13, 1976, the son of the late Raymond A. Iles and Judy (Cox) Iles who survives him. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Danny Lee Iles and Michael Iles.

Chucky lived in Dayton all of his life, was employed as a mason, and enjoyed dirt track car racing.

In addition to his mother, Chucky is survived by his wife, Stacy (Green) Iles; his daughter, Ashley (Clint) Shadwick; his son, Tyler (Halie) Dennis; his two brothers, Gene (Michelle) Douglas, Jr. and Dale (Alisa) Iles; his sister, Kathy Douglas Lindahl; his grandmother, Oleta Dowden; and his four grandchildren, Brinleigh Travis, Axtonn Shadwick, Mia Dennis and Briggs Dennis, all of Dayton.

Funeral services for Chucky will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brooks Green officiating. He will be laid to rest at Spivey Cemetery.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee, where they will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
