Ralph Eugene Williams Sr.

Ralph Eugene Williams, Sr., age 78, of Chattanooga died Wednesday morning, May 7, 2014 in Chattanooga. He was born December 23, 1935 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Gilbert and Margaret (Geary) Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lonnie Mae (Salyers) Williams and two sons, Chris Williams and Jonathan Williams.
A resident of Dayton and Chattanooga since 1990, Ralph was employed by Price Brothers in Bakewell where he retired as plant manager. He was a golf professional at Dayton Golf & Country Club and an avid outdoorsman.
Ralph is survived by his son, Ralph (Linda) Williams, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; his two daughters, Kim (Kelvin) Smith of Scottsdale, AZ and Dawn Holquin of Spring City; brother, Lawrence (Sue) Williams of Wheelersburg, OH; sister, Margie Marion of Dayton, OH; eight grandchildren, Josh Williams, Jacob Williams, Tony Holquin, Taylor Holquin, Nicole Smith, Daniel Smith, Erica Upp and Brandon Young and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ralph will be held Friday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Hobbs officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Spence Cemetery in Dayton followed by a white dove release.
