Ralph Lin Phillips, age 58, of Dayton, died Friday, January 16, 2009 at his home. He was born in Chattanooga February 2, 1950 and was preceded in death by his father, Richard Phillips, Sr.
Ralph lived in Dayton all of his life and was retired from Suburban Manufacturing Co. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janice (Braden) Phillips, his sons, Robert Phillips of Evensville and Ralph Phillips, Jr., his daughter Carole Phillips, his mother Cleo (Harris) Phillips, sisters Katherine Walker and Reba Sutton, brothers Richard, Raymond and Roger Phillips, and three grandchildren, all of Dayton.
Funeral services for Ralph will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tom Herrell officiating. Burial will follow in City Cemetery in Dayton.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, where they will receive friends Saturday after 12:00 noon.
