Phyllis Elaine Fulcher age 89 of Dayton went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Rhea Medical Center. She was born in Verona Township, WI on November 20, 1931 the daughter of the late Maurice and Hazel Leona (Gentz) Jorgensen. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harland Elmer and two sisters, Helen Leffew and Marian Jorgensen.
She was a graduate of Proviso High School in Maywood, IL and moved to Dayton in 1990 from Blue Mounds, WI. For 23 years Phyllis was employed with Bell and AT&T as a telephone operator. She was a member of Grace Bible Church and its XYZers, Red Hatters, Cumberland Springs Bible Camp Circle of Friends and Silver Sneakers.
She is survived by her husband Tom Fulcher of Dayton; two daughters, Bonnie (Rev. Darrel) Goad of New Port Richie, FL and Lynn (Dan) Fry of Dayton; two sons, David (Ruth) Elmer of Mount Airy, NC and Brian (Aileen) Elmer of Weatogue, CT; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Saturday afternoon, February 20, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Grace Bible Church in Dayton with her son-in-law Rev. Darrel Goad and Rev. Jim Woychuk officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
