Peggy Jean Dyer, age 76, of Dayton, passed Thursday morning, December 13, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Dayton, she was born October 26, 1936 to the late June and Henrietta (Wilkerson) Dyer.
Peggy was a homemaker and was an active member of Rhea Central Church of God.
She is survived by her son Glenn (Madge) Dyer, two daughters, Teresa Smith and Donna Rucker, all of Dayton, two brothers, George (Nellie) Dyer of Lawton, OK and Carlton Dyer of California, her sister Evadna Roberson of Dayton, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, a host of nieces and nephews and cousins and her special friend, Evelyn Johnson of Dayton.
Funeral services for Peggy will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeannie Brown and Pastor Del Sharp officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Dayton.
