Pearl Alice Hill, age 69 of the Brayton Community on Graysville Mountain died Saturday, October 13, 2007 in Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
Pearl was born in Bledsoe County on May 26, 1938 the daughter of the late George Washington Post and Edith Alice (Walker) Post.
Pearl has been a long time resident of the Brayton Community and was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. For many years she was employed as a nurses assistant in home health care.
Pearl is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bill Hill of Brayton, two daughters, Lecia Burns of TX, Azelia Vail of Chattanooga, two sons, Willis Hill and Julius Hill, both of Brayton, three sisters, Blossom Harmon of Graysville, Virginia Forbes and Dorothy Oliver both of Dayton Mountain, six brothers, Lloyd Post of Collegedale, William Post of AL, Edgar Post of GA, George Post, Richard Post and Stanley Post all of MD and her six grandchildren.
Graveside services for Pearl were held Sunday afternoon in the Brayton Cemetery with Pastor Larry Owens officiating.
