Opal “Louise” (Creason) Keedy age 72 of Soddy Daisy died at her home on Saturday, February 13, 2016. She was born in Pikeville on March 6, 1943 and had been a resident of Soddy Daisy since 1971. She is also preceded in death by her father Mathew Creason and her husband John Franklin Keedy. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her sons, Rev. Jerry (Judy) VanWinkle of Dayton, Terry (Debbie) VanWinkle of Soddy Daisy, her daughter, Ginger (David) Campbell of Soddy Daisy, three granddaughters, Amber Yother, Amanda Yother and Hannah VanWinkle all of Soddy Daisy. Louise is also survived by her mother, Margaret “Lillian” (Gilbert) Creason of Sparta, two sisters, Joyce Morgan of Pikeville, Margaret Hale of Spencer and her three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Louise will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with her son, Rev. Jerry VanWinkle officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Blackburn Cemetery in Pikeville.
