“Jack” Odis Tate Martin, 87, passed away Thursday March 25, 2021 at his home with his family at his bedside. He was born to Warner and Gladys Martin on July 15, 1933 in Graysville, TN; who preceded him in death along with brother-in-law Cecil Webb.
Jack was the proud owner of the Graysville Service Station known as “The Shell” for 30 years. He was recognized in the Business Association from the Shell Oil Company. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Martin; daughters, Nancy (David) White and Nora (David) Griswold; and son, Robert (Debbie) Martin; grandchildren, Corey, Melissa, Tracey, Jon, Sara, Sam and Waylon; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and sister Pansy Webb of Graysville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at 5:00 PM in Vanderwall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
Visitation 4:00- 5:00 EST PM Saturday March 27th.
Wearing of face masks and social distancing is greatly encouraged.
There will be no Graveside Service due to weather.
