Marion George Creasman, age 76, of Dayton, passed away late Wednesday evening June 19, 2019 at his home in Dayton. He was born on July 20, 1942 in Graysville, the son of the late George and Bonzella (Goins) Creasman.
Marion lived in Rhea County all of his life. He served his country with the US Army and the Army National Guard. He was a lumberyard worker for many years and enjoyed working on lawnmowers and cars. Marion was of the Church of God faith.
He is survived by his two daughters, Justine (James) Garrison of Dayton and Paula Creasman Sneed of Graysville; his three stepchildren, Tyna Nabors of Dayton, James Asberry and Tracy Asberry both of Pikeville; his three grandchildren, Jeremy Sneed, Jessica Mears and Gage Garrett; four great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret (Ken) Gossett, Bonnie Gossett, Susie (Bill) Wolf and Patsy (Ron) Berger all of Dayton; and two brothers, Don (Connie) Creasman and Mike (Carol) Creasman all of Dayton.
Funeral services for Marion will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. George Morgan officiating. He will be laid to rest in Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville.
